As an added value to our neighbors and the community, Ballard Woods partnered with Brocks Sanitation on February 1, 2012 for all trash and recycling in the subdivision.
As new homeowner you must call Brock's Sanitation to establish or switch existing service for your address if taking ownership or residence on or after the partnership effective date of February 1, 2012.
You may continue to see some homeowners with sanitation services other than Brock's. These are existing homeowners that were already being provided services from other companies prior to the partnership date of February 1, 2012. Under the partnership agreement with Brock's existing homeowners were not required to change companies, although many homeowners have switched.
What does one trash and recycling company mean for you?
- Being the preferred company Brock's will provide all customers living in Ballard Woods at heavily discounted rate verse other companies per quarter for both trash and recycling. Brocks will also provide and deliver additional bins as needed for each homeowner free of charge.
- Brock's has also agreed to provide free services for the commons areas and pool.
- Weekly Thursday trash service and bi-weekly Thursday recycling service.
- Reduction of the amount of sanitation trucks on our road with only Thursday as the scheduled pickup day for both trash and recycling.
Call Brock's directly at 919-779-8726 to establish new service or to switch your service from the previous owner. You must inform them you live in the Ballard Woods Subdivision and wish to receive the discounted rate for the services. They will prorate your bill for the amount of time remaining in the quarter and deliver the cans promptly.
